Set up a custom domain name for your enterprise trial

You can setup a custom domain name to access your trial environments, with a few limitations.

One example is that you won't be able to deploy an SSL certificate to your trial environments. If someone tries to access your environments using HTTPS, they will get an invalid certificate error. Accessing your environments with regular HTTP should not cause any problems.

How to setup your custom domain name

To setup a custom domain name for your trial environments, change your DNS record to the enterprise trial environment hostname.

As you received an environment with the hostname mytrial.outsystemscloud.com and want to access it using www.mycompany.com. Contact your DNS administrator to create a CNAME record for www.mycompany.com that resolves to mytrial.outsystemscloud.com. The entry should look like this:

NAME TYPE VALUE
--------------------------------------------------
www.mycompany.com. CNAME mytrial.outsystemscloud.com.

Avoid using IP addresses in the configuration of DNS records, since the IPs of the trial environments might change.
