Building UI Through Pattern Composition

Silk UI Framework

We encourage the use of OutSystems UI instead. If you're looking for support to migrate your apps using Silk UI check our guide.

Silk UI is essentially a set of app templates and dozens of patterns, implemented in the form of OutSystems Blocks with configuration parameters and content placeholders. Silk UI patterns can be and dragged and dropped, and nested in OutSystems IDE. This allows developers to build full mobile and web screens, just by dragging the desired patterns.

Silk UI patterns cover the most used UI patterns and interactions in mobile and web apps, to distance developers as much a possible from the need to program CSS.

Find great pre-built screen examples, which can be copied directly to your application, in Silk UI's website — head over to the samples section.
