SILK UI Framework

OutSystems

Installing Silk UI

If you have an OutSystems Cloud PaaS (or OutSystems Personal Environment), Silk UI Mobile is installed by default on your Development Environment, and is automatically upgraded during the scheduled upgrades. To push Silk to your remaining environments, you just have to follow the normal OutSystems staging process.

You can download both Silk UI Mobile and Web from OutSystems Forge, or just by following these simple steps:

1. Open your Development Environment, and connect to your server:

2. Select Install Application:

3. Search and select the desired Silk UI (Web or Mobile):

4. Select Install:

5. You can find Silk UI Web templates separately in OutSystems Forge by searching for “Silk” or filtering with “Templates”. Silk UI Mobile's templates are already included in the framework.

Installing Specific Silk UI Versions

To install a specific version of Silk UI, just follow the steps described previously, but when you get to step 4, instead of pressing Install, just navigate to the Versions tab and select the one you want to install:
