Unexpected Data Type

The Unexpected Data Type warning is issued in the following situations:

  • Common entity identifier data type expected in comparison

    You are comparing two entity identifiers of different data types.

    Check the Entity identifiers that you are comparing.

  • <type> data type expected instead of <type>

    You are using the wrong data types in an expression or in a built-in function.

    Check the data types managed in your expression or used in the built-in function.

Double-click on the error line to take you directly to the invalid usage of the data type.
